Permeability test of El Nabil® nail polish

Permeable El Nabil nail polish sold on www.vernis-halal.eu has passed cosmetic tests in laboratories. Indeed, it is essential to prove their efficiency before selling them. Thus, it is in the famous laboratory Cosmepar® that the nail polish have been analysed. The oxygen and water steam they contain enable their permeability. Moreover, they contain no animal matter and no alcohol. 

Thus, this study made by this laboratory was aimed to prove this permeability. A protocol has been set. A nail-polish coat has been applied on a filter paper with the brush of the bottle. Before it dries, some waterproof film, previously cut in its middle, is placed on the nail polish. The whole device has dried on room temperature for two hours. Once dry, the device is placed on an absorbent and clean paper as in the photograph below: 

Then, in the middle of the cut window in the film, a droplet of blue coloured water is placed and covered with an other coat of waterproof film, as you can see on the picture below:

After this step, the droplet is pushed between the nail polish and the above waterproof film by lightly patting with the fingertip for thirty seconds. The device is then removed from the absorbent paper. On the last picture, blue prints are clearly viewable under the film paper covered with nail polish. 

To conclude, the laboratory of cosmetic tests Cosmepar® has proved that El Nabil nail polish is permeable.
